How to get rid of rust

There are a couple different methods to get rid of rust. You can just do the original way and sand and scrape. Or you can use products like vinegar, coca cola and last baking soda. For the first example using vinegar you would use diluted vinegar, you can mix with water, and soak into a towel or rad depending on the size or amount the rust has covered on the vehicle. Let the towel sit on rust for a hour or hours depending how much rust there is and how much it covered. Then grind off. Second for baking soda you would mix a thick mix of baking soda and coat on rust, rub and grind off later. Lastly coca cola, with this method you need tin foil and coca cola. Pour coca cola on rust mold tinfoil over, let sit for a while, and rub off. Enjoy.

History of 1962 f100 Uni-body

The f100 Uni-body is an integrated truck bed and cab, so technically the body is just one big piece. Ford started making trucks in January 16th 1948, beginning the F series trucks. The fourth generation f series trucks started in 1961 and continued to 1966. The Uni-body was made in this fourth generation f series with the integrated cab and body or box. Which means no gaps between bed and the cab. This means fewer welds and complications. The Uni-body was helpful because the cargo area was larger and had 16 % more space then the third generation. The engine options were a 1961 f series with a 223 cubic inch with 137 horse power straight six, also 292 cubic inch with 186 horse power V8 nick named "y block" with 3 or 4 speed manuals including the three speed           Ford-o-matic. The body style options were either the flare side or the style side. Lastly from what i found there are at least 13 generations.

How to change the serpentine belt in you vehicle

Your first step to changing your serpentine belt is to open the hood and well to know which belt is the correct belt. To include you should have the correct belt for your model and make as well. Next the tensioner or the tension belt, you need to make sure that this is moved back and rotated clockwise so it can release tension because it is spring loaded. Depending on the vehicle will determine how many things the belt is hooked into. All need to be unhooked or pulled off. You may or may not have to remove the fan it all depends on how close it is to the radiator. Lastly you need to remember how the belt goes back on and the angles, or you can use a diagram.

How to clean your carburetor

Cleaning your carburetor is very simple. The first step to cleaning your carburetor is to pull the top part off. There should only be 4 screws. Second is to un-do your float chamber. This is located by the bottem of the carb and is almost off centerd, you will know this becausse is looks like a little floater or a bouy. Next is to remove float and needel valve. These are both located above the float. You should make sure that throttle linkage is free and clean as well. Now you will need to remove main jet and needle jet. There both right in between were the floater was. Lastley you will submerge these parts in carb cleaner. Put it all back together will a fresh tank of fuel and your set to jet.

Broncos, Blazers,Jimmys,Ram-Chargers

A Ford Bronco, GMC Jimmy, Chevrolet Blazer, and lastly a Dodge Ram- Charger are all on the same basic model consisting a  blocky square structure. These are not the only cars that do this. Manufacturers do this with many different cars. This is one of the best examples. Im going to you these cars for an example through the year. Manufacturers do this all the time thats how they “create” new cars. Lets say Ford came out with a new car, Dodge could see this, take the idea of that model and add their own tweeks and turns on it to make it some what different. This area was mostly based in 1979-1992. Well start with the best first, The Ford Bronco. The how you can tell the difference from a Blazer and a Bronco is the hood on the Ford. On a Chevrolet Blazer the hood also has some changes to it as well if you were looking at both of them side by side you could tell they both have an indent right above the fender and below the window. On the Ford the indent will be rounded and compared the the blazer it is all square and boxy. Next best is a General Motors Company (GMC). This also has an indent but it includes something that the other two do not have and that is that the fenders are pushed out. Lastly The Dodge Ram Charger, you can always tell a Dodge by its grill. They have changed since then obviously. They did keep the same idea of the grill, anyways you can usually tell the difference of these cars either by their hood or fenders. Thats what makes each of them special, the tiny little things that make them different from each other.
