New cars

Ive been over hearing that you can have Pandora or Wifi in your car, honestly that is ridiculous. That is such a big distraction. How the hell is Pandora supposed to help you when you roll your car ? Its not. It pretty much wont hep you in any negitive situation enless your going through some stupid ass break up listning  to old 80s love songs. I think that it might be a smart idea to have all new cars, even older models to at least have a roll cage and seat belts checked every so often. I was on the high way the other day in my friends honda and the wind pushed that son of a bitch around everywere and it was barley windy at all. We could even make weight limits for cars even small trucks.

How to change a tire

I had asked a couple people and took a small survey and allot of people don't even know how to change a tire for there car. That's kinda sad because its one of the easiest things you can change on your car. The first step to changing your tires would to get new tires. Second your car should have a jack, if it doesn't  then you need to get one that fits your car/truck. What I mean by fits is you should jack up your car and it should be tall enough to lift the tire up. Next step your going to want to put the jack directly  under the front axel off to the left or the right depending on the tire and depending if its the front or back tire.So vice versa. Alright third your going to jack up the car. You want it to be up far enough so your tire is off the ground, now your tire does not need to be 4 feet off the damn ground but it shouldn't touch either. Now you will need a lugnut wrench to take of the nuts on the tires rim. From here on its mostly common sense. Take your old tire off and put the new one on. You can obviously see where to put the tire on, if you cant figure that out... well find a changing tire books for dummies. You need to put the nuts back on a certain way. You will be putting them on as if you were connect dots on a star. This is very important because when you release the jack and put the tire back down you will need to re-tighten them in the star motion again, it will distribute itself evenly, creating the perfect  balance of grip. The jack will release if you turn the handle to the left. Its that simple and your done!

There are no craftsman ship in new cars

Back in the day there were so many people working in factories. People them selves actually working on products. Now robots do everything. The biggest one is cars. First of all, how cars are put together is a robot, were the hell is the craftsman ship in that ! Second, all these new cars that are coming out all look the same. There is nothing different to them. There is nothing that makes them stand out compared to other cars. Not to mention there made out of either fiber glass or plastic. Men back in the day worked to the fullest extend to get the car perfect. Put there blood and sweat into that car. The cars were beautiful. You can tell a 57 chevy bel air from a 54 chevy pick up. I think its ridiculous how they are coming out with wifi for your car ! not only is that going to be a giant distraction but how in the hell would that help in a situation of an accident.

About me

My name is Halana. Classic trucks/cars are what i am interested in. My father did restoration for many years and that for the most part inspired me. I love 50s music, the 1950s is the generation i should have been born in. My all time favorite car is a  57 Chevrolet Bel Air. To include my fathers favorite car as well. Someday i will fly a F/A 18 Super Hornet. I want to go into the military so bad and ive wanted to since 5th grade.Im all for the navy ive talked to all the other branches and its always been navy. I want to be an engineer first and work on the planes then hopefully become a pilot. If this dosen’t work out then want to become a mechanic and do restoration down in Detroit Michigan were some of the best cars were ever created.

How to change your oil in your car/truck

In this post I'm going to explain how to change oil in your truck and or car. First step first that go to an automotive store. You need a certain oHow to change oil in your truck / car.il and oil filter for your truck/car year and model. When you change your oil it's good to have your car / truck warm before you do it.this way you get all the oil out including the gunky s*** at the bottom of the oil pan ,but not hot or you will burn the s*** out of yourself.Second step if you have a smaller car or a non-american small car I would recommend ramps and a automotive creeper. If you have a truck then you're set. Now you want to get underneath your car / truck and you will be up at the front of your vehicle you will take out the nut on the oil pan if you don't know where the oil pan is its towards the front of the car and should be directly underneath your engine / transmission. On a truck they will most likely be half and inch. You will need an oil pan for your old oil to drain into. Once all the old oil is drained you will need to put a nut back on.Third step you'll be changing the oil filter. You can get a filter wrench any automotive store, if it's on there too tight usually you can just take it off with your hands.I usually just poke a hole in the bottom of the filter with a screwdriver and let the oil drain as well into the oil pan. After you take that off and the oil is all drained take out the new filter. You can get pre-lubed filters. If you don't get one of those then open up a bottle or one of the bottles of oil stick your finger in and rub on the top rubber band of the filter. Hell splash little oil in there as well. Put that sucker back on tight, but not too tight or too loose.Alright the last the best oil you can probably get is Valvoline. Any oil you get is fine as long as its made for your make or model. Now your going to take the new oil and you'll need a funnel to dump your oil into the crank case, this is located right through you're fill tube. Then you're done. Start that baby up and listen to her go.

The 50s generation

If I could choose any generation I would love to live in the 1950s not only were the cars amazing but include the style and the music.let's start with the style you're either a square or delinquent.Definition of square, poodle skirt, khakis, military cut hair, boring.Definition of delinquent, fast cars, greased long hair, leather jackets, tight skirts, red lipstick and black lined eyes. The delinquents are my favorite. They were  always so crazy
so fun and were not afraid to stand out and be different. Second was the music. All the way from the King of Rock n Roll Elvis Presley to Dion and the Belmonts. Nothing compares to 50's music, music actually has a meaning to it back then. They can actually sing and play instruments. Not to mention music from the fifties is always so catchy. The music from that generation can always just stick in my head in playback over and over again.I saved the best for last. The cars back then were absolutely beautiful. One of the best cars known to man is a 1957 chevrolet bel air.Or if you're into trucks a 51 or a 54 chevrolet pickup truck. There's actually craftsman ship to the car, this gave people pride in what they created with there own two hands.
